The Governor of Ogun state Dapo Abiodun has announced the lifting of the lockdown that was in place in the state for weekends.
The governor made this announcement on Friday as he gave updates on the efforts the state has made to curb the coronavirus in the state.
He stated that lifting the lockdown was a well-thought-out decision by him and major stakeholders, that the decision was reached due to the reopening of worship centers.
He said, “Let me say that now that our worship centers are open for activities, the restrictions on weekends are lifted, but the limitation on social gatherings not exceeding 20 people at any place at the same time is still very much in force.
“Observation of dusk-to-dawn curfew as directed by the Presidential Task Force i.e. between 10.00 pm and 4.00 am daily. He said
