Nigerian Super Eagles players have raised their hands in solidarity with the END SARS protesters after Iheanacho scored a goal against Tunisia.
Before the match with Tunisia, several Super Eagles players had joined the End SARS campaign online.
However, they showed more solidarity when they raised their fist while they celebrated Kelechi Iheanacho’s 19th-minute goal.
The win and solidarity were unlike the game against Algeria on Friday.
Meanwhile, with the poor gameplay with Algeria on Friday, Nigerians and sports lovers were barely concerns as social media and the youth were engaged with the ENDSARS protest and crisis.
For Nigerians, the game didn’t matter much as outside a trend or two, it was the protest that got everyone talking, Pulse reports.
