The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has restated his administration’s commitment to the completion of Lagos -Badagry Express road and also promised to embark on the construction of the phase two of Aradagun- Imeke road.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this at Ojo, during an official launching of the Hyundai Kona Nigeria’s first locally assembled Electric Car by Stallions Automobile factory in Lagos.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also assured that his government would continue to partner stakeholders on innovation as it is ready to provide charging points in the state for Electric cars and further create enabling environment where business can flourish and thrive.
The Governor who was earlier presented with a key to the first Electric Car said he was honoured and glad to be at the event as the company had been a major industrial hub of Nigeria and had a four to five decades history while urging the group as well as other stakeholders to partner government in its ongoing efforts in completing the biggest rice mill in Nigeria, recently underway in Imota
Gistongist gathered that the Managing Director the Stallions Group, Rohtagi Manish, said the innovation was a step towards an eco friendly green Lagos ,as the material used to assemble the Nigeria’s First one hundred percent Electric zero emission car was mostly sourced from local resources.
