With the premier league season ending last weekend, premier league stars have begun their short vacation and Former Nigerian international Odion Ighalo is not left out.
The striker has impressed since his loan move from China’s Shanghai Greenland Shenhua to England as he signed for Manchester United, thereby becoming the first Nigerian to play with the club.
The former Super Eagles striker’s stay was originally due to end on 31 May but he will now remain with the Reds until 30 January 2021, enabling him to build on an impressive start to life with the club he supported as a boy.
Ighalo has had quite a successful season at the club especially in the Europa League and FA cup, as He has featured in seventeen games and has scored 5 goals for the club.
Ighalo used his one week break to go on sea to relax before the Europa league second leg encounter against LASK on August 5th.
Should United qualify at Old Trafford, Manchester United would play against the winner of the match between FC Copenhagen and Turkish champions, Istanbul Basaksehir in the quarter-final.
