The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Tuesday revealed states in the country who currently do not have any record of Covid-19 patients currently admitted for treatment.
The commission revealed this on its website, indicating that as of Tuesday, September 1, three states which are; Kogi, Zamfara and Yobe States have no COVID-19 infected patient on admission in various Isolation Centres in these states.
Information provided by NCDC further reveals that Zamfara has had 78 confirmed cases out of which, 73 patients have been discharged, while five died.
Kogi has had five confirmed COVID-19 cases with three testing negative and discharged and two casualties recorded.
While, Yobe has had 67 confirmed cases recorded in the state and 59 have been discharged and eight patients died.
However, NCDC had on Monday night via its twitter handle had disclosed that the country had record 143 new cases of Covid-19 in 17 states, including Abuja.
The commission had further revealed that there were no COVID-19 death but the number of COVID-19 fatalities stood at 1,013 as of Monday night.
