Republican senator, Mitch McConnell has revealed the president of the United States, Joe Biden has taken wrong actions on his first day in office.
The senator criticized the president for the first actions he took on his first day in office on Wednesday, January 20.
The newly inaugurated 46th US president signed 17 executive orders on his first day, some of which reversed some policies put in place by his immediate predecessor, Donald Trump, Legit reports.
The Senate minority leader said the US president is headed in “the wrong direction.”
The Republican senator said President Biden took wrong actions on day one, condemning many of the executive orders signed by Biden of which included; revoking a key permit for the Keystone Pipeline XL, rejoining the Paris climate agreement and removing a Trump-appointed general counsel to the National Labor Relations Board.
McConnell said, “On the Biden administration‘s very first day, it took several big steps in the wrong direction.”
