It’s no longer news that Manchester United are in hot Pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s winger, Jadon Sancho, who has been given a price tag of 108 million pounds with Dortmund chiefs not willing to negotiate.
Reports in Germany suggest the deal is close yet far from happening, with United still reluctant to pay the stipulated transfer fee Dortmund is demanding. However, should United opt to pay the full fee of 108 million pounds, Manchester city are poised to get up to 15million pounds from the fee.
Sancho, was a former Manchester City youth player before moving to Germany to join Dortmund, hence City would be getting a slice of the pie if the deal is to go through.
Sancho is reported to have agreed on personal terms with United, which is rumored to be a weekly salary of 350 pounds, thereby making him one of the highest earner at the club.
Meanwhile, City have completed the signing of Ferran Torres and would be looking to add the extra money gotten from Dortmund’s sale of Sancho to United to acquiring a new defender.
Multiple reports suggest United are skeptical about Sancho’s value but he remains the number one target, as the club looks to build on the team’s progress last season.
