Lukaku has helped Inter Milan clinched its first Serie A title after a 11-years long slip from the top spot.
Belgian Striker, Romelu Lukaku has been at the heart of their success garnering 21 goals. The Belgian frontman made a £74m switch to the Nerazurri in August 2019, replacing Mauro Icardi as the team pack leader and main striker.
The 27-year-old rose to prominence at Inter, becoming an integral part of Antonio Conte’s side, creating a formidable partnership with Lautaro Martinez.
Since his arrival, he has surpassed Icardi’s scoring rate to help bridge the gap to the top and end Juventus’ nine-season Serie A dominance.
In 2018-19, Inter finished 21 points behind Juve. But the summer arrivals of head coach Antonio Conte, who is a great fan of Lukaku after trying to get while he was at Chelsea. This effect enabled a title challenge last season, but they finished second, relinquishing the title to Juve with just one point.
