While it is sad that Lagos State lost one of its cherished politicians, should other people risk their lives to bury the dead?
This was the question that comes to mind as people defied the Covid-19 social distancing directive of the government just to witness the laying to rest of one of the member of Governor’s advisory council, Chief Lanre Razak.
Recall Gistongist reported that the All progressive council, APC, chieftain died in the early hours of Saturday after brief illness.
The burial ceremony which happened on Saturday at Epe was pack full with people without face mask from across the country even while Covid-19 still surges.
The crowd was so much that security operatives were unable to manage it.
Gistongist reports that old people who are said to be more vulnerable to the Covid-19 took a large chunk of the people present at the burial ceremony.
Would this increase the numbers of Covid-19 cases?
