Football Governing Bodies which include, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Confederation of African Football (CAF), FIFA, Bolton Wanders and Eintracht Frankfurt have celebrated Jay-Jay Okocha as he turns 47th.
The governing groups and the player’s former clubs, sent their congratulations to him on his birthday.
The midfielder is regarded as one of the greatest players from Africa, winning Nigeria Player of the Year award seven times and twice took the BBC Africa best player prize.
Born in Enugu, Okocha started his career from his home town joining Enugu Rangers in 1990 and dribbling, of which his skills caught the attention of the crowd.
He made some good moves both home and abroad that shot his football career till date, like his move abroad to start his European career with FC Saarbrucken, he deal with the Bundesliga side in December 1991 and 90 appearances for the club during his four-year with them.
The football has lived quite a good football trail for generation and celebrates 47 with his records and achievements.
