Nigerians using social media have taken to twitter to express anger over the excessive taxation of small businesses by the government in Nigeria.
Many expressed anger with the Hashtags ‘Enough is enough’ on Tax matters on Saturday via twitter.
Speaking on the issue, twitter user identified as @Wealthy_yute wrote, “Really regret being a Nigerian sometimes…I woke up to news that; NIPOST wants logistics companies to pay for licenses. FG wants to impose 6% tax on tenants. Electricity companies want to implement higher tariffs. Inside this suffer? Enough is Enough! #SayNoToNipostFee”.
Khal Bussie known as @iam_bussie on twitter wrote, “This and more is why Foreign investors would rather stay in East Africa or go to S/Africa. Nigeria Gov refuse to make things work then when individuals try making it work, they squeeze them dry Unfortunately Enough is Enough would never get to them #SayNoToNipostFee”.
Nigerians have shown dissatisfaction at a number of issues in the country, ranging, the taxes with no infrastructure, killings and fraud, @Sir shabzy said, “The president and the army chiefs are not doing enough please, we are just watching innocent citizens and our front line fighters dying in vain, Enough is enough, Nigeria deserves peace. #ArrestBuhari”.
While @Tezzzy stated, “Politicians successfully divided us. To tackle the problem in Nigeria we need unity or else nothing can be done. everything is messed up,that’s why i auto read the 3 arms of government like Execute thieves Legislooters Judisharin. Enough is Enough”.
