Protest against SARS and blocking of major roads are causing inconvenience for innocent citizens in the country.
The Chief Imam of Nawair-ur-deen society of Nigeria, Lagos branch, Alhaji Sheu Abdulmajeed made the statement during Jumaat Service sermon at the society Central Mosque,covered by Gistongist at Idioro, Mushin.
He said that the negative impact of the protest is hindering movement of the people and in some States causing insecurity.
Alhaji Abdulmajeed also started that ordinary the protest should not focus on SARS alone but against the bad attitude of policemen in Lagos country.
“Bail in police stations is not free as the police normal said, all extortion by the police inside their stations and on the road nothing is being paid into government pausee.” – He revealed.
“However, most of the problems facing the country are caused by youths , because they are the one behind most of the crimes, yet they are protesting against SARS.” – the Imam noted.
Gistongist reports that Alhaji Abdulmajeed called on the government to reform police in general and draft a new youth policy in the country. He advised the youths to think about what they could contribute towards betterment of the country if actually they the future leaders of tomorrow as populaly said
