President of the United States, Donald Trump has on Saturday cast his ballot in person near his home in Florida.
The US president told reporters that it was a ‘very secure vote’ as he cast his vote at the Palm Beach County Main Library on Saturday morning, Dailymail reports.
Trump joined over 52 million Americans to cast votes and this makes him the first presidential candidate to cast a ballot for himself.
Meanwhile, the vice President, Mike Pence and Karen Pence voted in Indianapolis on Friday.
Trump’s motorcade was pictured arriving at the polling station and departed Mar-a-Lago at around 9:43 a.m.
Trump’s decision to vote in person comes as the president has repeatedly hit out at mail-in ballots making claims that they are a scam.
