That the elected Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu will not be validated by the court of law as the original APC candidate for the Governorship election in Ondo State has been turned a lie.
How did Gistongist know this?
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed the suit challenging the validity of the emergence of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 20, 2020, primary election of the party.
Being an APC candidate, his nomination was validated by the court.
This followed the judgement of the Federal High Court Abuja on Wednesday, January 13.
Justice Inyang Ekwo in his judgement dismissed the prayer of Akereolu’s challenger, Olajumoke Anifowose.
Gistongist reports that, Governor Akeredolu remains the constitutional elected Governor of Ondo State.
