The governor of Bayelsa State Douye Diri, has called on the good people of Bayelsa to continue to work together, towards the interest of the state and ignore party difference.
The governor made this known through his Acting Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabra, said on Friday, as he welcomed members of the Bayelsa House of Representatives.
Governor Ɗiri, tasked the representatives to continue to work have in hands to bring the state of Bayelsa to the pinnacle of success.
He appreciated the members of the caucus for putting aside party difference for the betterment of the state.
He said: “I appreciate you for deciding to work together not minding party differences and believing that the interest of the state is paramount.
He further encouraged them to continue to preach love to the people of Bayelsa.
“We are happy with what we have seen. Let us preach love, let us preach reconciliation. This is your government. We are not here to serve only the Peoples Democratic Party. This is your government of prosperity, and we mean every word we put out.”
